ABOUT THE LSEC Is the commercial trading arm of The Longridge Partnership
The Longridge Partnership is made up of representatives from Longridge Town Council, Ribble Valley Borough Council and many community groups and volunteers.
LSEC is supported by Longridge Town Council, Lancashire County Council, and Ribble Valley Borough Council with representation from each on its board.
All members are currently volunteers.
LSEC runs the Civic Hall for the benefit of the people of Longridge. Once the Station Buildings have been renovated LSEC will take over a lease for those buildings and manage them alonside the Civic Hall.
LSEC is a company limited by guarantee.
It is a not for profit Social Enterprise Company.
Its aims are to improve the delivery of service provision to the people of Longridge by the creation of a community hub at the Civic Hall. To manage Station Buildings to achieve the best possible results for the town.
LSEC's will in due course appoint a dedicated member of staff whose brief will be to increase usage at the Civic Hall and in time Station Buildings to such an extent that both buildings are self sufficient and eventually profit making. Profits made will go back into the company to maintain the Civic Hall and Station Buildings or other community projects in Longridge.
